District ESE staff to hold inclusion worksop

Flagler County School’s Exceptional Student Education Department will hold a workshop 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday, March 17, about the inclusion of special education students in general education classrooms.

Cindy Lanzer, a development specialist for Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System and North East Florida Educational Consortium in Palatka, will speak on topics including positive peer modeling and gains in adaptive behavior.

The workshop, geared toward parents of students with disabilities but also open to others, will be presented in cooperation with the FDLRS and the NEFEC.

It will be held in Room 3 on the third floor of Government Services Building 2, at 1769 E. Moody Blvd. in Bunnell.
