CORRECTED 9:25 a.m.

Brianna Bellon, 23, of Palm Coast, was killed in a crash at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, March 23, according to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

A box on the report is checked to indicate that alcohol is related to the crash, but the driver is unidentified.

Zackariah Holden and Corey Doyle-Carlson are both listed as passengers on the report, but presumably one was the driver. Both are 23 and Palm Coast residents. Neither man sustained any injuries.

The report states that a 1999 Toyota Solara was traveling north on County Road 2007 near County Road 110, about 13 miles southwest of Bunnell, “and for unknown reasons lost control and ran off the east side of the roadway. The Toyota collided with trees and overturned in the ditch filled with water. One occupant (Bellon) expired at the scene. Two other occupants left the scene, went to a residence, and contacted the police from there. At this time the investigation has not determined which occupant was the driver.”

More details will be added as they become available.
