Two men, one with a cardboard box and the other with a black handgun near his side, told a clerk at the CVS in St. Augustine, “We want to make a withdrawal.” They asked for Xanax and the exited the store.
That was Feb. 1, and since then, thanks to surveillance video and witnesses, the two men were arrested not only for that robbery but also for a Jan. 31 overnight burglary of a Palm Coast pharmacy.
The State Attorney’s Office announced March 25 that it will be pursuing charges against the two men: Matthew Dalton Barker and Daniel Garrett Lindsey, both of whom have home addresses listed on Leidel Drive in Palm Coast. They are charged with burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief.
