Flagler Beach to hold promenade ribbon cutting

The city of Flagler Beach will hold a public ribbon-cutting dedication for the Gateway Promenade Improvements Project  at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 6 at the overlook structure at Eighth Street South.

Mayor Linda Provencher, City Manager Bruce Campbell, city commissioners and Lois Bollenback of the River-to-Sea Transportation Planning Organization will attend the event and explain project plans and funding partnerships. 

The Gateway Promenade Improvements Project is funded by a $760,000 grant for the Florida Department of Transportation, and extends from Ninth Street South to Fifth Street North.
