The River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization is planning transportation improvements for the Flagler County area, and has asked residents to tell the TPO about their transportation needs through a survey available at palmcoastgov.com/TPOsurvey, according to a city of Palm Coast news release.

"This survey will help us understand our citizens’ transportation wants and needs as we prepare a long-range plan,” Palm Coast TPO representative and Vice Mayor Jason DeLorenzo said in the news release. “I encourage everyone to complete the survey.”

The survey asks residents about their transportation habits, transportation spending and satisfaction with transportation facilities.

Responses received by July 23 will be placed in a drawing for a chance to win $250. The drawing is optional, and survey responses can also be submitted anonymously.

The boundaries of the Metropolitan Planning area covering Volusia County and parts of Flagler County were recently expanded, as required by federal law, and now include Palm Coast, according to the news release.

The city plans to join the River to Sea TPO, according to the news release. The City Council has voted to approve an expansion of the TPO boundaries to include Palm Coast, and will vote within the next month or two on an interlocal agreement to make Palm Coast a voting member of the TPO.
