Home Builders Association: construction supports 483 jobs

Flagler County jurisdictions issued permits for 46 new homes in April and 173 so far this year, according to data released by the Flagler County Home Builders Association in a press release.

This year, according to the press release, the residential construction generated $18.9 million in local income, including $5.2 in revenue for local businesses, $13.7 million in wages and salaried and $3.4 million in taxes and fees. The construction also supported 483 local jobs, according to the press release.

The Flagler County Home Builders Association estimated that the homes will generate $5 million in local income and support 128 local jobs.
