The victim stated that when his son was putting his bike in the garage, his son noticed that the truck in the driveway was leaning to one side. The victim investigated and saw that his Ford F-250 work truck had two tires slashed, possibly with a 3/4-inch blade. His personal vehicle, a Chevy Malibu, also had two tires slashed. The victim stated that his Malibu had two tires slashed in a similar manner about a month ago.

3:03 p.m. — First block of Pine Grove Drive. Larceny.
The victim said he was doing yard work, when he was interrupted by a phone call. He went inside for 5-10 minutes, and when he returned, he discovered that his lawnmower, which he had left in the swale, was missing. It was only 3 months old and was worth $500. A canvass of the neighbors yielded no results.

5:30 p.m. — First block of Kathleen Trail. Grand theft auto.
A woman said she gave her daughter the keys to unlock a bedroom, and the next thing she knew, her 2010 Ford Explorer was gone. The woman said she did not give her daughter permission to drive the vehicle. Deputies checked several addresses where the daughter was known to frequent, without success. The woman said she wanted to press charges, and the vehicle was entered into the system as stolen.

10:08 p.m. — First block of Blyth Court. Criminal mischief.
A man told a deputy that he saw someone threw a rock through his mother’s window. The mother was sitting in a chair in the living room when the rock broke the glass, which caused between $250 and $350 in damage. The deputy located the suspect, and charge will be forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office.
