Hundreds of bikers came to the annual Biketoberfest in Ormond Beach.

The streets of Ormond Beach were humming with the sounds of motorcycles Oct. 16 through Oct. 19 for the annual Biketoberfest celebration. Melissa Penland of the Ironhorse Saloon credits her businesses’ success to the beautiful weather over the weekend.

“Good weather always helps,” Penland. “It was up from last year. We were so happy for those warm days and cool nights.”

Barney Meaders parked 700 bikes over at Wild Bills and he said the crowds at Biketoberfest were similar to Bike Week.

“It was that busy,” Meaders said. “We had tons of foot traffic. I slept 12 hours the next day and I never do that.”
