Deputies arrested a 56-year-old Bunnell man Friday and seized more than $12,000 in cash and drugs from his Hazelnut Street home, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.

The deputies, part of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, arrived at David James Myers’ house at about 7:15 Sept. 19 with a search warrant. They had investigated Myers for 10 months, Sheriff James Manfre said in the release, after receiving an anonymous tip that Myers was selling narcotics from his house.

Deputies seized 11.2 grams of crack-cocaine, which has a street value of $1,600.00, according to the release, as well as a total of $11,255 in cash and a .380 Hi-Point firearm.

Deputies arrested Myers and charged him with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Myers has been arrested previously on charges of possession and sale of a controlled substance, according to the news release.
