Family medicine physician Dr. Sharrell Cooper has joined the Florida Hospital HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital Flagler. Marci Schmiege has also been selected to serve as the manager of health promotion and wellness for the five Florida Hospitals in Volusia & Flagler counties.
In her new practice at Florida Hospital Flagler, Cooper will offer complete care for patients ages 5 and older. Her services include routine preventative care, acute care visits, chronic disease management and much more. Schmiege will oversee the Change Your Life with Florida Hospital wellness program, which is open to hospital employees and community members alike.

Arrow Rehabilitation has added Haylie Allegra as its Patient Representative & Marketing Director.

Recent Matanzas grad and former Marketing-2-Go intern Michael Manning has been hired by Volusia County as a summer intern at Volusia County's Community Information Division. There, he will be responsible for assisting in managing Volusia County’s social media platforms and writing news releases. The work will be related to Manning’s college studies at the University of South Florida. Manning will serve there until the end of August.

Gail Downs, with RE/MAX Flagstaff, has recently been presented with the RE/MAX Hall of Fame Award, which honors successful agents whose production has surpassed the Hall of Fame entry in commissions during their careers with the company.
Downs has been working in the real estate industry for more than 14 years and has extensive experience and certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and Certified Distress Property Expert (CDPE). Among Downs’s list of achievements, she has earned membership to RE/MAX 100% Club five times, Executive Club five times in her 10 years association with the RE/MAX organization.
Jeanine Volpe and Jonita McCree, specialists in residential real estate with Coldwell Banker Premier Properties, have been named Top Listing Associate and Top Sales Agent, respectively, for the month of July.
John Tompkins, an employee at the McDonald's at 5190 E. Moody Blvd., has been selected as the friendliest cashier.
Performing cashier duties, Tompkins welcomed all customers with the Price is Right's famed command "Come on down." He was always cheerful and kept a smile on his face.
