Families worked together to create their own pagodas.
Six-year-olds Layla Wilson and Emma Moore whisper silly little secrets in each others’ ears while coloring outside the the lines of their pagodas. A few seats down, 5-year-old Brianna Brown debates the purpose of putting glitter beads on the roof of her 3-D creation. And somewhere in the next room, 7-month-old Keanu Rennebeck is getting one his first artistic experiences from his father, who’s bouncing him between paintings in the Ormond Memorial Art Museum.
Free Family Art Night is a loud and busy mess of colored paper, children and conversation — much like the average family living room.
