“Tonight was about bringing everyone together to support one another. Each unique person offers a wealth of knowledge and creativity,” Rick Micciche said.
Business men, golfers and a vast array of local artists gathered Sunday, Aug. 30 at the Palm Harbor Golf Club for an Evening of Art. Guests gazed at the gorgeous artwork from over ten featured artists while listening to the soothing music from professional harpist of thirty years Sondra Vaughan. Shortly after, a member of the Central Florida Rat Pack, Armando Diaz, performed a Frank Sinatra tribute. Local businesses sponsoring the event were Mezzaluna Pizzeria, 386 Restaurant and Your Personal Chef. As well as the Palm Harbor Golf Club and the Gargiulo Art Foundation.
The event was put into place to unite all the various and remarkable people who comprise the City of Palm Coast. Affiliations can be formed by bringing people together who have different expertise and interests in order to create a stronger community. With the Evening of Art event many of those unique people were given a chance to collaborate and build important contacts.
The mastermind behind the event is Rick Micciche, who has been a Palm Coast resident for eleven years. Co-sponsor of the event was Brad Adams, Manager of the Palm Harbor Golf Club.
Micciche developed the Blue Rider Art Group to umbrella many unique artists from several different art foundations. “Palm Coast is a city of ideas and inspiration from all the different community members. Art can be a universal language that unites people in inspiration,” Micciche said.
