Law enforcement officials found missing Palm Coast man James Hubbard in Altamonte Springs after he was involved in a minor traffic crash, according to a Flagler County Sheriff's Office news release. Hubbard, a 94-year-old who was the subject of a Silver Alert overnight, is OK, and family members are brining him home, according to the news release.
Altamonte Springs is about 70 miles southwest of Palm Coast, near Orlando. Family members reported Hubbard missing at about 9:53 p.m. last night after he left to go to the local Walmart at about 4 p.m. and didn't return home.
The Sheriff's Office will give the Hubbard family information on the Wanderer's Assist Program, which is "designed to assist with the safe return of wandering individuals who suffer from Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Autism and medical or mental health conditions," according to the news release.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office received a call at approximately 9:53 p.m. Dec. 5 from a family member stating James Arthur Hubbard, 94, had not been seen since leaving his home to drive to Walmart at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Hubbard was last seen wearing an unknown colored shirt, tan pants and a tan hat. He is 5’11” and approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen driving a 2010 black Toyota Camry 4-door bearing Florida tag number Y8HEH.
Hubbard lives at 88 Fleetwood Drive in Palm Coast.
Deputies have contacted the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and have asked for a Silver Alert to be generated.
The FDLE has activated the Silver Alert system, a system that uses the media and dynamic message signs along Florida roadways to alert citizens of the missing person and the vehicle they were last seen driving.
