Who is committed to business excellence in Palm Coast and Ormond Beach? The Observer's Standing "O" Awards campaign is designed to answer that question for a variety of categories of business found in our markets.
On Tuesday, Dec. 8, the participants gathered for the awards ceremony at Oceanside Beach Bar and Grill in Flagler Beach. There, Observer Publisher John Walsh said 27 businesses participated. In his introduction to the special section that was published Dec. 10 as an insert, he wrote: "By participating in our campaign, these businesses make a bold statement to our community. They are telling their customers, other businesses and even competitors that they are committed to excellence."
