Flagler County commissioners take on new committee roles

Each commissioner sits on a number of local, regional or state boards or committees.

The Flagler County Commission at its Monday, Dec. 7 meeting held its annual determination of which county commissioner will serve on which local, regional or state board or committee. The new committee assignments are:

Commission Chairwoman Barbara Revels: Flagler County Department of Juvenile Justice; Juvenile Justice Circuit Advisory Board; Public Safety Coordinating Council; River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization; Tourist Development Council.

Commissioner Charlie Ericksen: Flagler County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee; George Washington Carver Center Governing Board; School Planning Oversight Committee; Small County Coalition; Transportation Disadvantaged Governing Board; Value Adjustment Board.

Commissioner Frank Meeker: Friends of A1A Scenic Byway; Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve; Northeast Florida Regional Council; School Planning Oversight Committee; St. Johns River Alliance; Workforce Development Board.

Commissioner George Hanns: Artificial Reef Technical Advisory Committee; Library Board of Trustees; Small County Coalition; Value Adjustment Board.

Commissioner Nate McLaughlin: Early Learning Coalition, Economic Opportunity Advisory Council; Chamber of Commerce; Agricultural Museum Board of Trustees; Heritage Corridor Advocacy Group; Land Development Code Advisory Committee; Town of Marineland Community Redevelopment Area.
