Eli Rotermund, the teen who was reported missing the morning of Dec. 16, has been found and returned home, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate Eli Rotermund, 16, of 326 Wellington Lane, Palm Coast. Eli left his home at approximately 10:00 p.m. yesterday following a disagreement with his parents.
Deputies have canvassed the area around his home and were unable to locate Eli. Bloodhounds from the Putnam and St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office’s were called in to assist and are currently searching the area.
A CodeRed notification has been issued. CodeRed is a high-speed emergency notification system used to notify residents and businesses in minutes about incidents that may impact their safety or the safety of others.
Eli is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds. He has dark short hair, a thin build, brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a red American Eagle T-shirt and black/gray shorts. Eli is not wearing any socks or shoes.
His direction of travel is currently unknown. Eli is severely autistic and has the mental capacity of a 6-to-12 year-old. Eli went missing in August of this year and was found approximately seven hours later sitting on a park bench near his home.
