The event was held Jan. 30 at the school.
Thanks to the Parent Teachers Association at Ormond Beach Elementary, 180 people had a night of free food, drinks and games.
“We were offering this event as a way to promote family and community togetherness,” April Goerke of the PTA said in an email, “without an emphasis on technology, and at a price everyone could afford.”
The event included several games on all the tables in the lunchroom, a play area for toddlers, and a photo area with lots of fun props.
“This event was really a huge hit,” Goerke said. “We anticipate making it an annual event.”
