Local kids participated in the free-throw competition held at St. Brendan's Catholic School.
The annual District 16 Knights of Columbus basketball free-throw competition was held Jan. 24 at the St. Brendan Catholic School gym. Boys and girls ages 9 to 14 competed in the event that was also hosted by Father Eamonn Gill Council 13018.
Winners in the girls division are Asha Collins, Daysia Doughtry, Arveon Graham, Ashley Santamarina, and Lindsey Rogers. The winners in the boys division are Andrew Gazzoli, Rodrigo Barbosa, Andrew Acebal and Steano Paspalakis.
These winners will go on to participate in a regional competition sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.
