The Flagler Beach Area Council and the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce held the second Peers on the Pier networking event. During the pier block party Daniel Behler organized a flash mob to dance to Flagler Beach’s 97.3 Surf Station radio.
“The flash mob was a great opportunity to bring together a group of people for a brief, spontaneous and joyous moment," said Daniel Behler.
Guests were granted the leisure to chat to each vendor while only paying a small fee of five dollars entrance fee, which also included two drinks and unlimited hors d’oeuvres as supplies lasted. Thursday evening there was estimated to be 350 people attending the block party, with twenty five different tents to discover along the length of the pier.
