Emmanuel’s Closet founder Brandi Fowler summed up the goal of the organization in this way: “clothing people in God’s love.” That emotion was evident during the first fashion show held by Emmanuel’s Closet--featuring clothes from the store--on Thursday, July 22, at the Italian American Club, in Palm Coast.
“We are so grateful to Parkview Baptist Church and the members within our community for coming together to support Emmanuel’s Closet,” Fowler said. “We feel so blessed to be able to provide clothes to families who otherwise would not have any.”
All proceeds from the event went straight back into Emmanuel’s Closet to serve the needy families at the church, the elderly widow next door, the homeless woman at the coffee shop, and anyone else who has trouble affording clothing in Flagler County, she said.
