Ormond Beach police are investigating the drowning of a 2-year-old child on July 24.
The child was found by his father in a pond. Police responded to a house at 20 Rainbow Falls Drive about 6:30 p.m., according to a press release.
CPR was performed on the child and he was transported to Florida Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the report stated.
The investigation is continuing.
