Blue Moon names manager
Blue Moon Yoga and Fitness, 136 N Orchard St., has named Jacob Blanchard, who has been teaching at the school for almost two years, as the new manager.
Blanchard will continue teaching a wide variety of classes from basic flow to hard body core. He has completed master classes and retreats with teachers from various lineages, according to a press release.

Callan Group announces hire
Callan Group Communications, located in Fountain Square Mall, recently welcomed Sarah Hechler as their new Marketing IQ. A graduate of Father Lopez Catholic High School, she received her bachelor’s degree in editing, writing and media from Florida State University in 2013.
Hechler was previously account manager for the Ormond Beach Observer and recently helped launch Young Professionals Group Ormond.

Seacoast Bank names market manager
Seacoast Bank, 1240 W. Granada Blvd., announced the hire of Rachael Gilbert as vice president, market manager for the Ormond Beach market. Gilbert will be responsible for business development, small business and consumer lending, and community involvement.
Volunteers needed for days of action
This year, United Way Volusia/Flagler will celebrate Worldwide Day of Action over several days, from June 15 to 21. Coworkers, friends or family can sign up for a volunteer project. Odyssey Travel Marks 30th Anniversary
Odyssey Travel, a full-service travel agency that has been family-owned in Ormond Beach since 1985, celebrated its 30th anniversary recently.
Located at 146 South Atlantic Ave., the company is co-owned by Karen Upchurch and her son, John.
Odyssey Travel hosts a number of consumer presentations throughout the year. The next event is scheduled for Sept. 17 at the Halifax Yacht Club in Daytona Beach.
