Building more than a rap sheet?
1:41 p.m. — 100 block of Justice Lane
Fraud: A 68-year-old man walked into the Sheriff’s Office headquarters and said someone had used his ID to open up a credit card account with a home improvement store and run up a $2,042 bill. The charges to the card were made on six separate occasions between May 21 and May 28, when the store notified the victim of the charges, according to a Sheriff’s Office case report. The victim said the store was investigating the fraud and refunding the money. There was no suspect information.

7:48 a.m. — First block of Palm Harbor Drive
Property damage/criminal mischief: An employee of a local golf course told deputies that someone drove a vehicle onto the 15th green, near the intersection of Colbert Lane and Courtney Place, and peeled out, causing about $200 worth of damage. A deputy who photographed the tire marks noted in a case report that the tread was small and the vehicle was a rear-wheel drive.
