The Casey family has set up a gofundme account to help pay for expenses, after their house caught on fire May 19, at 6 Llach Court, in southern Palm Coast. The father and daughter were hospitalized, and six dogs were rescued.

As of 5 p.m. May 21, $400 had been donated to help the family.

The story about the fire was recently published on this website, and the text from the gofundme page is below:

"We would like to keep you all updated, it has been two days since the fire took place. My brother in law is still in ICU with a tube down his throat helping him breath, we are praying that it is removed today and that by the end of the day he can breath on his own. He has no insurance so this gofundme page is to help with the medical expenses and also help the family get their house fixed.

"The children are starting to get emotional because at this time their mother and father are in the hospital, three of the kids are staying with one relative and the other three are staying at another relatives house. They just want to go back to their home where all of their memories are.

"PLEASE HELP US GET THIS HOME BACK TOGETHER SO THE FAMILY CAN BE BACK TOGETHER."
