Island Grille, located at the Topaz, in Flagler Beach, (the previous location of Blue) opened its doors to the public Wednesday, May 27, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
With Chef Gary Maresca in the kitchen, the menu boasts everything from Buffalo blue chips and duck egg rolls for appetizers to fish tacos and French dip sandwiches and entrees such as braised short ribs and veggie stir fry. Patrons of Blue will notice some favorites back on the menu, including lobster bisque and wasabi salmon.
Joining Maresca on the team that brought Island Grille to life is local real estate agent David Alfin, Woody’s Bar-B-Q owners Joe Rizzo and Chris Zwirn and community leader Carla Cline.
Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Island Grill is located at 1224 S Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach.
