The following is a news release from the Flagler County communications office:

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Flagler County Sheriff’s Operations Center has been moved back an hour.

The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. Nov. 3.

“At this point, everyone knows Governor Rick Scott will be attending,” County Administrator Craig Coffey said. “We just got word from his office that a conflict prevents him from being there before 11 a.m.”

The public is invited to attend. Besides the Governor, Flagler County Commission Chairman Frank Meeker, Palm Coast Mayor Jon Netts, Bunnell Mayor Catherine Robinson and Sheriff Jim Manfre will speak.

Tours of the facility will be provided afterward.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Operations Center is located at 901 E. Moody Blvd. in Bunnell.
