Smells of fried fish drifted from the grill of the Greg's Seafood and BBQ — and the mouths of the dozen or so people waiting in line started to water.
"It's going fast," said Lonnie Burkes as he flipped another fish. With literally tons of other seafood options available at the annual Riverfest, the guests weren't too concerned about running out of the food.
In its seventh year, Riverfest is a community celebration of all things water hosted by Ormond Mainstreet and was visited by more than 12,000 area residents last year. The event included everything from cooking demonstrations to bounce houses to free fishing and 5K fun run.
