SATURDAY, NOV. 28

The Giving Store registration

Noon to 4 p.m. at the Flagler County Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell. Scheduled times will be given with registration to visit the Giving Store on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Cattlemen’s Hall at the Flagler County Fairgrounds, 150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell. For Flagler County children kindergarten to fifth grade who cannot afford gifts otherwise. An opportunity for children to appreciate the joy of giving. The children can select one free gift to give to each full-time resident living in the household with the child. Call 597-2950

 

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 30

Palm Coast tree lighting

6 p.m. at Central Park in Town Center, 975 Central Ave. Hosted by the City of Palm Coast and the Rotary Club of Flagler County. Santa, entertainment and refreshments will be available after the lighting of a 30-foot live Pinus Clausa tree. Call 986-2323.

Tenth-annual Fantasy Lights

6:30-9 p.m. Central Park in Town Center, 975 Central Ave. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Flagler County. Enjoy a free self-guided walking tour featuring 40 animated light displays accompanied by festive live music. Contact Bill Butler at [email protected].

 

FRIDAY, DEC. 4

Festival of trees

4 p.m. at the Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway NW. Live piano music by Anne Atkins and live music by the Bell Ringers of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Refreshments will be served. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Call 446-6763.

Christmas Come True fundraiser at Whitney Laboratory

6:30-10:30 p.m. The event is on December 4th from 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. and is located at the Whitney Laboratory, 9505 Ocean Shore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Enjoy formal attire, live entertainment, dancing, a silent auction and dinner catered by Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Proceeds to benefit Christmas Come True. Holiday at the beach parade

1 p.m. in Flagler Beach. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Flagler Beach. A toy drive will be held during the parade, trucks will be in the parade to collect unwrapped toys for Project Share. The gifts will go to provide gifts for children in need this holiday season. Visit flaglerbeachrotary.org.

Handel's Messiah

3:30 p.m. at the Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway. The music ministry will present the 70 voice festival chorus who will perform the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah and the Hallelujah chorus with professional soloist, festival chorus and orchestra. Men’s Club of Temple Beth Shalom Latka party

Candlelight Service of Remembrance

5 p.m. at the Garden of Memory Mausoleum, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach. Bring a favorite ornament in remembrance of a lost loved one to help decorate the Tree of Remembrance. Holiday season luncheon and gift exchange

THURSDAY, DEC. 10

Flagler County Historical Society holiday open house

Palm Coast Living Nativity

Jacksonville Symphony holiday concert

8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway NE. Round-trip bus transportation provided through the Community Center. Trip includes seeing the Jacksonville Symphony Holiday Pops Orchestra at the Times Union Performing Center. Tickets: $60; includes transportation and concert. Lunch is at participant’s expense.
