Palm Coast resident Timothy Miller, 45, is in critical condition after a single-car crash on Oceanshore Boulevard in northern Flagler County early the morning of Nov. 28.

Miller was driving his 1998 Mercedes south on Oceanshore Boulevard at about 3:20 a.m. when he "failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway" south of Cedar Point Road, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The driver's side tires of the car veered left onto the grassy center median, and Miller "steered sharply back to the right," and the car overturned numerous times as it traveled onto the right, or western, grassy shoulder.

Miller wasn't wearing his seatbelt, and was thrown from the car. There were no passengers. The car came to final rest facing west along the tree line, according to the news release, and rescuers took Miller to Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach with critical injuries.
