From the time the official sounded the gunshot, Justin Pacifico took the lead and never relented it. He would go on to win the conference race by 30 seconds Thursday, Oct. 15, at the Flagler County Fairgrounds.
“I thought it went pretty well,” Pacifico said. “I just came out to win the rest and get my team the lowest points possible.”
Pacifico and two other Top 10 Bulldogs finishers assisted Flagler Palm Coast to a second-place finish behind favorites New Smyrna Beach.
The Lady Bulldogs took eighth, having six of their seven runners finish in the Top 30.
Next up for FPC will be the Class 4A District meet, beginning at 8:30 on Saturday, Oct. 24, in Gainesville.
