Local bicyclist Bailey Anne Cagliuso in critical condition after collision

Cagliuso, 26, was struck by a car as she bicycled in Palm Coast's F-Section

A 26-year-old Palm Coast woman was airlifted to Halifax Hospital with life-threatening injuries Oct. 21 after a car struck her as she bicycled in the F-Section.

The young woman, Bailey Anne Cagliuso, was heading out of the driveway of a local home at about 6:52 p.m. when she was struck by a white Chevrolet Lumina as it headed south on Felshire Lane near Fellowship Drive, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. 

The Lumina's driver, 18-year-old Orangeburg, South Carolina resident Kiara Hemby, was not injured in the crash. Her sole passenger, 3-year-old Ayden Hemby, a Palm Coast resident, was also not injured.
