Three armed men with covered faces burst into the Pizza Hut in the Publix shopping center at the intersection of Palm Coast Parkway and Belle Terre Parkway the night of Sept. 19 and demanded money from the employees.

The robbery happened at about 10:52 p.m., according to a Sheriff's Office news release, and no one was injured.

Deputies arrived after responding to a panic alarm set off at the store at 1475 Palm Coast Parkway N.W. Store employees told deputies that they'd been robbed, and that the three armed robbers had taken "an undetermined amount of currency," according to the release, then corralled the employees into an unlocked cooler and fled. Employees didn't know which way they went.

The Pizza Hut wasn't open to the public when the robbery happened, according to the news release.

This is the second time in less than a month that the Pizza Hut has been the site of a violent incident. On Aug. 24, the Pizza Hut's parking lot was the site of a stabbing that left the victim in critical condition.

Deputies have asked anyone with information about the robbery to call the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office at 586-4801. Callers can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-8477, and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
