Woman returns from hospital, discovers jewelry missing
12:58 p.m. 100 block of Cemetery Road. Residential burglary: A 51-year-old woman got out of the hospital, where she’d been with her boyfriend, and discovered that someone had stolen her $1,763 14-carat gold bracelet from her purse while she was gone, she told a deputy. The bracelet had a broken clasp, and she’d left it, along with its warranty papers, in a black velvet box in her purse at home. The home's doors had probably been unlocked because there were multiple children in the home, she told a deputy. A deputy took a report and noted that there were no signs of forced entry on the home, according to a Sheriff's Office report.
