Florida Highway Patrol: Wildfire near State Road 11, County Road 304 may affect visibility

The FHP has been monitoring the fire since the afternoon of April 9.

The following is a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol:

The Florida Highway Patrol continues to monitor a 35-acre wildfire in the area State Road 11 and County Road 304.

The fire may affect roadways in Flagler County, and drivers should use caution traveling in these areas.

Visibility may deteriorate quickly due to smoke/fog type conditions, especially during the night time and early morning hours.

Motorists are reminded to reduce their speed as necessary to avoid a collision and utilize their low beam headlights in order to adapt to changing weather conditions.

The Florida Highway Patrol has been monitoring the fire since the afternoon of April 9.
