The next Ms. & Mrs. Florida and Georgia U.S. Pageant will be presented at the Flagler Auditorium at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 1.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the pageant is seeking women from Flagler, Volusia and St. Johns counties to represent the East Coast during pageant weekend in Flagler County.

Contestants will compete in four areas of competition: Panel interview, on-stage question and answer segment, swimsuit, and evening gown. Each category is 25% of the overall score. Private interviews will be conducted on Saturday, April 30. The remaining phases of competition will take place in front of a live audience on May 1.  Finalists will be recognized for their beauty, accomplishments and commitment to making their State a better place to live.

Three new queens from Florida and Georgia will be selected to represent their State at the national competition in Las Vegas later this summer.

All contestants receive a gift bag, each valued at more than $700; and the six new State queens will share in a prize package exceeding $60,000, including modeling contracts and appearance opportunities.

Proclaimed as “The Pageant With A Purpose,” delegates are encouraged to have a platform or cause that they will promote during their reign as a local title holder or the new State queen. The pageant is a valuable resource for the
titleholder as it opens doors and opportunities during appearances and media coverage to highlight their charitable ventures on a much broader scale. The National Organization supports and promotes the No Kid Hungry organization (https://www.nokidhungry.org/).

Tickets to the pageant are available by calling the Flagler Auditorium, 437-7547 or 866-352-4537,and at the door the day of the event. With proper ID, discounts are available for former title holders, youth,  military personnel and seniors 60 and older.
