Four U.S. Marines chose Cinnamon Beach, in The Hammock, to recreate a photo they had taken on a beach in San Diego in 1966.

A central location was key in getting the four Vietnam vets back together for the photo around a surf board. Bob Falk, 71, in the blue stripe shirt, now lives north of St. Petersburg, Florida; Dennis Puleo, 69, with his arm stretched out, lives in Orlando; Tom Hanks (not the actor), 69, in front, lives outside Atlanta; and Bob DeVenezia, 70, crouched in front, lives in Naples, Florida.

Cinnamon Beach, is a stretch of sand in The Hammock, and was identified by the postal code of Palm Coast. The story of the reunion photo has gone viral in the media.

After the reunion photo shoot, the men had lunch at JT's Seafood Shack.
