Kangaroo gas station on Palm Harbor Parkway robbed at gunpoint

The robbers stole cash and cigarettes.

Two people walked into the Kangaroo convenience store on Palm Harbor Parkway in the early morning hours Aug. 4, held the clerk at gunpoint and stole cash and cigarettes.

The robbery happened at about 1:20 a.m. at the store at 1201 Palm Harbor Parkway in Palm Coast, according to a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office news release. 

The clerk was not physically hurt, and the store’s surveillance camera captured footage of the robbery. (View it here.) It was not clear how much cash the robbers stole, according to the news release.

Both robbers wore dark clothing. One had a bandanna around his face and wore a baseball cap, and carried a baseball bat and a dark colored semi-automatic handgun. The other wore a hoodie and carried a dark colored semi-automatic handgun.

The Sheriff’s Office has asked anyone with information about the robbery or any other crimes in Flagler County to call the Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911, or to call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-8477 (TIPS). Crime Stoppers tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
