NBalance Holistic Wellness Spa, 73 West Granada Blvd., has announced that Lisa Demczuk has joined their practice as a master reiki practitioner.
“Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation,” said spa owner Joy Hagstrom. “Lisa has been practicing for over 15 years and treats everything from stress, to hurt knees, sore backs, and beyond.”
Originally from Connecticut, Demczuk moved to Florida in 2011.
Reiki is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows through everyone, according to a press release. It works alongside conventional medicine.
NBalance Holistic Wellness Spa believes in healing the body through a holistic wellness approach to mind, body, and spirit connection, the release stated.
