Joyce Pepin, a real estate broker at Pepin Realty in Ormond Beach, will appear on national television next week on HGTV’s "House Hunters,"

Called “Beachside in Daytona Beach,” the episode details Pepin helping a young couple purchase their first home in the Daytona Beach area. The show focuses on the need to satisfy both husband and wife, as he's willing to spend more for a home that's brand new – while she’s willing to sacrifice size and condition for a place near the beach.

The couple’s search will feature homes in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and Port Orange.

The House Hunters series gives potential real estate seekers a better understanding of the home-buying process, as each episode follows a prospective buyer and an agent from start to finish. House Hunters is one of HGTV’s most popular programs, and the network broadcasts a variety of how-to shows with a focus on home improvement, gardening, crafts, and remodeling.

“Filming the episode with the House Hunters crew was so interesting and so much fun,” said Pepin. “I’m thrilled be able to highlight some of our homes on a national scale.”

Pepin has been working as a real estate broker in Daytona Beach for the past 14 years. She opened Pepin Realty in 2008 with her husband, Michael, and is the company’s broker as well as being a buyer’s agent.

Pepin received an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a graduate of Leadership Daytona. She also earned the prestigious Accredited Buyer’s Representation designation from the National Association of Realtors, the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. Prior to opening Pepin Realty, she worked as a Real Estate Sales Associate at RE/MAX All Pro.

The show will air at 10 p.m. Dec. 27.
