Motorcycle crash on County Road 305 Jan. 31 leaves Umatilla, Florida resident Timothy Wolcott in critical condition

Wolcott veered off the road, and the motorcycle overturned and landed in a ditch, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

Umatilla, Florida resident Timothy Wolcott was critically injured after he overturned a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on County Road 305 Jan. 31.

Wolcott, 48, was heading north on CR 305 at about 6:04 p.m. on a 2014 Harley-Davidson 103 when he failed to stay in his lane and veered off the road into a grassy area west of the roadway, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

The motorcycle rolled over numerous times and continued northwest before coming to rest in the ditch on the west side of the road, facing south, according to the report. 

Rescuers took Wolcott to Halifax Medical Center for treatment.
