The 11th annual Spay-ghetti Dinner to benefit the animals at the Flagler Humane Society, will be on Saturday, March 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, # 2709, 53 Old Kings Road, Palm Coast. A cash bar will be opened at 5 p.m. The evening will include dinner, dancing, silent auctions, and raffles.
Tickets are $30 each, and can be purchased by, calling the shelter at 445-1814, or online at flaglerhumanesociety.org.
The sixth annual Mutt Strutt 5K, to benefit the animals at the Halifax Humane Society, will be on Saturday, April 2, at the Daytona Beach Bandshell. Registration is at 8 a.m., and the walk begins at 9 a.m. The walk is open to walkers, joggers and runners of all ages. Leashed and well-behaved pets are welcome. The event is free, but participants are encouraged to create or join a walk team. Registered participants who pay $25 per person, will receive a complimentary drink ticket and a 6th Annual Mutt Strutt T-shirt.
