The Peninsula Club of Daytona Beach

Free Performance Improvement and Injury Prevention Clinic

6 p.m. at Spikes Athletic Shoe Store, 1237 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill. Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center physical therapists will discuss knee injuries and how to avoid them. In addition, they will help participants identify weaknesses or muscle imbalances to avoid injuries and improve performance. FRIDAY, JAN. 22

Open Gym

6 to 8 p.m. at the Ormond Beach Gymnastics Center, 432 N. Nova Road. Open to anyone between the ages of 8-21. Only be light spotting. Coaches will be on the floor at all times. A waiver to participate must be signed by each person and anyone under 18 years of age must have the waiver signed by a parent. The cost is $5 per participant. Tribute to the Greatest American Voices

7 p.m. at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center. Featuring some of the greatest artist of all times such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Marvin Gaye, Lou Rawls, Ray Charles, The Temptations, The Contours, and, Al Jarreau just to name a few. Cost is $30. Call 676-3375.

The Captain James Ormond Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution

11 a.m. at the Anderson Price Memorial Building, 42 N. Beach St. The program will be the American History Essay Contest winners and the winner of the Good Citizen Contest. There will be a catered luncheon, cost $14. Please reserve by Jan. 21. Call 441-4419.

Florida Licensing On Wheels

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall. FLOW is a standalone mobile office with technology to provide most motorists’ needs. It provides drivers license/ID card change of address, renewals, replacements and renewals and replacements of vehicle registration and disabled parking permits, as well as other needs. The only thing FLOW does not provide is for the drivers’ license road test. WEDNESDAY, JAN. 27

Jewelry Workshop: Dichroic Glass Etching

6 to 8 p.m. at the Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum. Take your jewelry and glass pendants to the next level by etching on dichroic glass. Use stickers and film to mask out designs or draw your own. Students create three to four fused glass pendants. No glass cutting or experience required. All supplies provided. Open to participants 16 and older. Led by Gail Artin. The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra
