Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Karri Mitchum, daughter of Suzanne Mitchum, and Christopher Jacob, son of Elizabeth Jacob. The couple, who have both been Palm Coast residents for more than 20 years, announced their plans to be married at the Princess Place Preserve in March 2017.

AAUW Flagler Arts Grant applications being accepted

The Flagler County branch of the American Association of University Women offers grants to local middle and high school girls pursuing the study of the creative arts. The AAUW Flagler County Arts Grants may be used for individual or group instruction in the applicant’s chosen field, workshop and camp attendance, arts internships, and similar activities.

The application for the arts grants are available through Flagler County high school and middle school guidance counselors, the Flagler Youth Orchestra, City Repertory Theatre, Flagler Playhouse and the Palm Coast Arts Foundation, or can be downloaded from the branch website. 

Impromptu team clears path

Local bicyclists came upon a fallen tree on the Lehigh Trail.  After a little teamwork and elbow grease were applied, the trail was open for all again.
