The long-delayed Holland Park renovations on Florida Park Drive have now reached 74% completion. Last week, grading was done for the playground, and the playground equipment is being installed. In an example of how much detail is included in the weekly report, you will appreciate this note as well: “Restroom door hardware installed.”
A new restaurant called 5th Element Indian Cuisine is listed as a new business in the city of Palm Coast’s Week in Review. It’s at 101 Palm Harbor Parkway.
Two other new businesses were listed: Matok Realty & Management Inc., 4867 Palm Coast Parkway, real estate broker; and MPower Fitness, 3 Boulder Rock Drive, health studio.
Two permits, including one for $1.2 million, were pulled for Race Trac Convenience Store and Gas Station. The construction company is Auld & White Constructors, who are working on the project at 5893 State Road 100 E.
A sign for the corner of U.S. 1 and Seminole Woods started through the concept design phase this week. It will appear much like the one in the photograph, except the lettering flanking both sides will read “SEMINOLE WOODS.”
A new storefront is opening in Island Walk: Palm Nails received a certificate of occupancy from the city for $175,000, at 250 Palm Coast Parkway, Unit 701.
Meanwhile, Indelible Men’s Hair Salon was awarded an occupancy permit at 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite C202.
A $389,000 permit was issued to Bellagio Custom Homes for a single-family home at 40 Cherokee Court W. That was the most expensive home of the eight that were approved for construction. Paytas Homes also pulled permits for three of the eight.
