You can help:

Emmanuel's Closet will host "Project Polo"  at 9 a.m., Saturday, July 23 at the boutique, 1000 Palm Coast Parkway SW. They will be giving away school polo shirts (gently used and new) to families in need of a hand up this school year.

The clothing closet is affiliated with Parkview Baptist Church and has about 40 volunteers working behind the scenes to make this outreach mission run smoothly. On a regular shopping day the mission gives away complimentary clothing, shoes, toys and books to Flagler families.

Senior Citizen Day nominations

Deadline July 21. Nominations for seniors 70 and older who have contributed to Flagler County. Email name and description of contributions to [email protected]. Ceremony will be Aug. 21.

Flagler Federated Republican Women: State Rep. Cyndi Stevenson 

5:30-8 p.m. at Hilton Garden Inn. State Rep. Cyndi Stevenson is the guest speaker, representing District 17, encompassing St. Johns County. Stay afterward for the after-party to watch Republican National Convention. 

Civil War Round Table

7:15 p.m. Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway. Guest speaker is Tracy Revels, Wofford College, Spartansburg, S.C. Topic: "Florida's Civil War: Terrible Sacrifices."    For more information, 313-1834.

 

Friday, July 22

Dive in Movie

8 p.m. at Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 339 Parkview Drive. Movie on the giant outdoor movie screen, while floating  in the pool. “Pan,” admission $1.

Scenic A1A PRIDE Meeting
