A man exposed his genitalia to a woman in the parking lot of the Walmart on Cypress Edge Drive May 27, the woman told Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies.
The woman said she was on break at midnight May 27 and went out to her car in the Walmart parking lot. When she got in her car, she noticed a man standing next to a burgundy car and staring at her.
At first, she "did not think anything of it," according to a deputy's case report on the incident. But then she looked up again a few moments later, and "she noticed that not only was he still staring at her, but this time he was also masturbating," according to the report.
Disturbed, she drove away, but then she drove back to try to get the man's license plate number as the man fled the scene in the car.
She didn't initially report the incident, but, "The more she thought about the incident, the more it bothered her," according to the report, and she reported it to the Sheriff's Office May 30.
Store staff told deputies they would review the store's surveillance camera footage of the parking lot.
