Local business people put their cell phones and laptops aside, and changed from office wear to beach wear, on June 4 as they took part in the third annual Corporate Challenge, organized by the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce.
The participation builds each year. There were 24 teams this year, with five people each, as opposed to 18 teams last year. The events included a hula hoop dash, bear crawl, noodle obstacle, beach wheelchair, sponge bucket and paddle board.
The Wheel Chairs were donated by Beach Mobility Rentals and the paddle boards were donated by Dawn Patrol Surf Shop & Board Store.
The presenting sponsors were Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center and Fields BMW; and grilling hot dogs for everyone was Allstate - O'Quinn Insurance Agency, Inc.
