A1A Taco Shop celebrates a decade
A1A Burrito Works Taco Shop will celebrate its 10-year anniversary. Nicolas Kimball and his wife Robin began their business back in 2006, selling tacos from a cart in St. Augustine. They opened their first official Taco Shop in Flagler Beach, which is still in operation today.
Nicolas currently has grown the A1A Burrito Works Taco Shop Corporation to include a total of four Taco Shops; two are located in Flagler County while others are in St. Augustine.
They recently sold their most recently refurbished restaurant Fuego del Mar, which was the dilapidated Mother's Bar, in Flagler Beach.
The U.F.O. (unidentified food object) is the best seller on the menu and has become world famous, especially since the menu item made its début on the Cooking Channel.
In accordance with its anniversary, Taco Shop intern Beth Townsend recently graduated from Flagler Palm Coast and Daytona State College, with her Associate degree. The Taco Shop has begun seeking new interns to replace Townsend.
