Knights get big win on the road
Every Flagler Knight pitched in to make the team’s road game trip possible on Saturday, June 11, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and it was well worth it.
The Knights blew out the home team 38-6 behind Torrance Brown’s five (four passing, one rushing) touchdowns.
“It was by far the best-coached game I've ever had,” said Charlie Washington, the Knight’s owner.
Brown connected with Willie fields on two TD passes, and he also hit Avery Harris and Romone Hollins for touchdown scores. Justin Edwards scored the other rushing touchdown. Tracee McCoy,
Keith Duhart, Marcus Mitchell and Harris each scored a two-point conversion.
More Bulldogs signed!
Flagler Palm Coast’s Kaz Maia recently signed his National Letter of Intent to forward his education and wrestling career at Iowa Lake Community College in Estherville, Iowa. Maia finished his high school career with a 143-12 record, was a three-time state qualifier and a two-time state finalist. He is slated to wrestle at 149 pounds for the Lakers, who finished seventh in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament last year.
Kyle Huff signed his NLI to attend Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Huff played three years for the Bulldogs, scoring 15 goals and assisting on 35 goals. He won Most Improved for his sophomore year. Huff plans to major in business accounting.
