Dresses inspired by sea creatures and favorite colors were created at hands of 19 Ormond Beach girls who attended the Ormond Memorial Art Museum's annual Fashionista Camp.
During the weeklong camp, these fashion moguls in the making learned sewing and design basics to create one-of-a-kind outfits that the ladies debuted at a fashion show June 17 at the museum.
Among the creations, flower crowns were popular accessory due to a universal love for nature and color among girls ages 6 to 12. Izabel Holmes, 9, said it best:
"I like flowers, and I like color."
